To The Dutch (and no snow this time…)
This Saturday, May 7, we return to one of our favorite venues, The Dutch. There’s no chance that weather will be a factor like it was with our gig a few months ago. The Dutch has an awesome outdoor space that is conducive to a great party which is what it’ll be Saturday. We have some new songs to debut in addition to the “bread and butter” of our song list. See you all Saturday night.
Back to back successes…
Our return to Crafty's was awesome. Great crowd - with a wide range of ages - dancing to almost every song we played. (They couldn't dance to every song- a rest every now and then was needed.)
We love to see everyone having a great time, as usual, jamming to the great rock classics we love to play. It never ceases to amaze us how songs from 40 to 50 plus years ago never seem to get old.
Thanks to Crafty's for letting us jam at their place again. We'll be back again in the fall.
The second half of our back-to-back weekend was at the Marchwood Tavern and it was another great night. Though not as many people got on the dance floor as we might like there was no doubt everyone was digging the music. "Seated dancing" we'll call it and it was in evidence all over the place as well as the usual singing along to every song. We could feel the energy.
Thanks to Steph G. for inviting us to play and supporting us throughout the night. And thanks to the Marchwood Tavern staff for keeping the party running smoothly.
We hope to return to Marchwood later in the year so keep checking our schedule page for additional dates. We have a couple weeks off and then on May 7th we're back at The Dutch.
A final note: we continue to see more and more familiar faces at our gigs and we're so appreciative of the loyalty of so many of our fans. Thank you all for your support.
Back to back weekend…
Ok folks! After tearing up the Trum Tavern this past weekend, Breaking Curfew will be jamming a back-to-back weekend at two of our relatively new venues. On Friday the 15th we’re at Crafty’s Taproom at 355 York Rd in Warminster. We play from 9pm to 12 midnight. After we nail that, we’re playing Saturday the 16th at the Marchwood Tavern at 3 Marchwood Rd in Exton. We play from 9pm to 1am so yes indeed, we have a busy, fun filled weekend to look forward to. Hope to see you out and about!
And the Trum did rock…
And we rocked it…Well, we weren't kidding when we said the Trum was going to rock this past Saturday. We had a great time as we always do at the Trum and everyone there was having fun too- it was a very enthusiastic crowd to say the least. We broke curfew again; we jammed until 1:15am and even then folks were asking for more.
Thanks to Steve Lewis for inviting us to play. Special thanks go out to Carli who was superhuman last night as bartender/waitress. She busted her butt keeping everyone there satisfied with copious food and drink.
We'll be back to the Trum in the fall. As always you can see where we’ll be on our schedule page.
Next weekend it's Crafty's and Marchwood Tavern. Hope to catch you at one or both of those gigs.
The Trum will rock again…
We can’t wait for our return to the Trum this Saturday, April 9th, at 9pm. We have had so much fun every time we’ve played at the Trum. The folks there know how to have a good time and we provide the music for them to enjoy themselves all night. We’re psyched and hope to see you there…
Great Night at the Great Barn
I'm running out of superlatives...my thesaurus is little help anymore. Our night at The Great Barn Taphouse this past Friday was phenomenal. This is a great place for bands to perform- huge real stage, great lights, etc. We love it.
And for the folks who love to listen and/or dance to live music The Great Barn is also a super venue with a huge bar (specializing in delicious craft beers) and a spacious dance floor. Speaking of the dance floor- it was packed all night and if people weren't on the floor they were singing and rocking it out in their seats.
It was also gratifying for us to see so many of our fans/friends last night. As usual Richie had a ton of his friends there. That group knows how to have FUN. We were also so thrilled to see our "Cabana Bar" friends/fans there. We knew we were going to have a great night when we saw you folks walk in. (And I promise I'll learn your names before the end of the summer.) Some of our Crafty's friends/fans were there as well. And, as always we made and met some new fans. We are so grateful and humbled by all the support we get at every gig.
Thanks to Steve and the entire crew at Great Barn for helping us throughout the night.
Next up is The Trum Tavern on April 9th. That will surely be party time.
Return to The Great Barn Taphouse
Working on the set list now for our next gig at the Great Barn Taphouse. Great to be asked back to play there. Set your calendars for Friday night March 25th. We’ll be rocking it out in Warrington off of Rt 611 at 1500 Main Street at the Shops At Valley Square from 8pm to 11pm. Great food, great spirits and great entertainment! See you there!
Keep checking our schedule page as we’ve continued adding dates to what has become a full calendar for the rest of the year. We feel so fortunate to have so many more opportunities to rock it out with all of you.
Oh Mother Nature…
Mother Nature reminded us yesterday that winter is not over and that she is still in charge at times. She brought us snow, very cold temperatures, and strong winds - enough that it was not prudent for our gig to go on as planned. The Dutch’s enclosed outdoor space would have been no match for the cold and wind and the roads would have been dangerous for driving. Obviously we were terribly disappointed as The Dutch is one of our favorite places to play. But, such is life sometimes…We return to The Dutch on May 7th so mark your calendars. It’s safe to assume the weather won’t be a factor for that gig. LOL
Next up for is The Great Barn Taphouse on March 25th. We’re looking forward to our return there.
Again to The Dutch…
This Saturday we return to The Dutch to rock the night away. We always have a great time there as our fans and friends get together with The Dutch regulars to create a wild party vibe. For three and a half hours we will all be able to put “life” aside and enjoy good music, good food, and good drink.
Tom’s was rockin’…
We had Tom's rockin' last night. The place was packed and everyone was jammin' along with us, either on the dance floor or singing along with us in their seats. This is what all our gigs are like now it seems and we love it. We keep hearing that everyone digs the tunes we play. As we always say, classic rock is the best music there is and all the songs put a smile on everyone's face.
As always we are so appreciative of the enthusiastic support of all our friends and fans...and there were a ton at Tom's tonight...you are why we do what we do.
Again, thanks goes out to Anthony for inviting us to play and thanks to his staff who, as always, were awesome.
We're back at Tom's on June 18th but we have a lot going on before then.
Check out our schedule page to see where we are in the upcoming weeks.
Back to Tom’s…
We are so psyched to be returning to the one and only Tom’s this Saturday, March 5th, at 8pm. Everyone knows Tom’s is a great venue for live music and we feel privileged to be able to jam there again. There is such a great vibe there and each of our gigs there has been a rockin’ party- this Saturday will be no different. Good food, good drink, good people, and good music guarantee that everyone has a fun night.
More additions to the schedule…
We keep working at adding more gigs to our schedule and at new venues. We’re psyched to be playing 5 - count ‘em 5 - gigs at another new venue: Dominick’s Pizza and Pub in beautiful Chalfont, PA. These are outdoor gigs which we love and this is a great place to enjoy good food, drink, and music.
We also added a gig at Crooked Eye Brewery in Hatboro. Another new venue that promotes live music- and has great craft beer! Can’t beat that combination.
We’ve had a great start to 2022 and it’s looking like the rest of the year will be even better. We are looking forward to having so many more opportunities to play for our loyal fans but also to play to people who haven’t seen us before.
Our calendar’s getting fuller but we’re not done yet…so keep checking back to our website for more additions to our schedule.
We nailed it at Crafty’s…
Wow! Our debut at Crafty's was awesome. The place was packed when we hit the first note and by the second note (or so it seemed) the dance floor was packed. Those who weren't on the dance floor were dancing/singing along in their seats. From the first song to our last people were having a great time and that includes us. We've said it over and over we feed off the energy of the crowd. We are so appreciative of the positive response we get at every gig.
There were some Crafty's regulars, some Breaking Curfew fans (shout out to the Cabana Bar/Skippack crew!), and some newbies who came to check us out. They all left satisfied, having been able to enjoy the music and forget -at least for a few hours- about all the other stuff going on around us.
We want to thank Meghan (sp?) for inviting us to play at Crafty's. We certainly hope to be back at some point. We'll let you know if and when. And thanks to Joe and his crew who were so gracious all night. They kept everything running smoothly.
Next up is Tom's on March 5th. Mark it down and we'll see you there.
Crafty’s Taproom next up…
This Saturday, February 12, we take our great classic rock to a new venue, Crafty’s Taproom. We are always excited to play at a new place which means playing to potential new fans. The prospect of adding to our Breaking Curfew fan base motivates us to bring our “A” game. (The truth is we’re always motivated to add to our fan base and we always bring our “A” game.) Crafty’s has a great reputation for delicious food and drinks, great service, friendly people, and for being a great venue to listen to live music. Come join us this Saturday for a fun night of partying.
Great night at Marchwood Tavern…
Neither snow nor bitter cold could keep us - and a good crowd - from our gig at the Marchwood Tavern last night/this morning. The weather certainly kept some people home but those who ventured out had a great time. As always we saw many friendly faces - family and friends. But there were also a lot of new faces which is always gratifying. The best part of the night though was seeing everyone enjoying the great classic rock tunes that we shared with them. The most satisfying feedback we get comes from seeing the joy on peoples' faces as they sing and dance along (in their seats and on the floor) to songs they all know and love.
Shout out to Stephanie for giving us the opportunity to rock the Marchwood Tavern and to the entire staff there last night who helped us get set up and supported us and everyone there throughout the night. We couldn't have done it without you. Great job!
We hope to schedule additional dates there. As always, keep checking here for a list of our upcoming gigs.
Marchwood Tavern on tap…
Ok all you rock & rollers! Breaking Curfew is heading out to Chester County this Saturday night, January 29th, at the Marchwood Tavern in Exton. That’s right! We’ll be in frontman Jamin’ James’ territory at 3 Marchwood Road in Exton. We will be jamming that classic rock we all know and love from 9pm to 1am so come on out and let’s show the Marchwood Tavern folks what Breaking Curfew is all about! Great food, great spirits and great live entertainment. Hope to see you there!
Great kick-off to 2022…
We started 2022 on a high note (no pun intended) with our gig at Tom's last night. Awesome crowd and great energy shared by all who were there- everybody was having a good time. We were so happy to get back playing to a live audience after our holiday mini-break. All of us in the band are always thrilled to see so many familiar faces as we did last night. Such strong support for the band by so many. We were also pleased to see a lot of new faces and some faces we hadn't seen in a while. It's always gratifying when these folks give us such positive feedback. One thing we keep hearing is how much everyone loves our mix of songs.
We are grateful to be able to return to Tom's on March 5th. Hopefully we'll be able to secure another date (or two) later in the year as well. We'll keep you posted.
Next up is a new venue for us: The Marchwood Tavern in Exton on January 29th.
We've added some new dates (we have scheduled our "summer series" at Cabana Bar) and we'll certainly be adding more in the weeks to come. Click on the “Schedule” link above to check out where we’ll be in the coming weeks and months.
In the meantime stay safe, healthy, and warm. And keep on rockin'.
2022 starts with a bang- Tom’s
Happy New Year everybody! We hope you had a nice holiday season and welcomed 2022 with open arms. As we flip the calendars to the new year we will be kicking off 2022 this Friday night, January 7th, at Tom’s Bar at 772 Walnut Street in Royersford. We will be jamming that killer classic rock from 8pm to 12 midnight so come on out and hit the dance floor and hang with the band because we’ve got some slick new tunes we’ve been working on and Friday night at Tom’s is the place to be! We will keep the New Year’s celebrations going! See you there!
The West End-a great gig to end the year!
it’s 3am…Just got home a little while ago from the West End gig. As usual too wired still to sleep. It was a fun night again. The West End is another great venue to play. It was good to be back. The last time was pre-covid. We kept everyone there rocking, singing, and dancing all night as usual. It seems classic rock is enjoyed by everyone no matter the age. And we love playing it, “from A to Z.”
That’s it for us for 2021. It’s been a great year but we couldn’t have done it without the support of our partners and our fans. We are so grateful.
We are looking forward to an even better 2022. Be sure to follow us here and on our facebook page (link above.)
We wish everyone a joyous holiday season.
Stay safe and healthy.
And keep on rockin’!
The West End…2021 finale!!
This Friday, December 17th, we return to The West End where we plan to end our year in raucous fashion. This is the last weekend before Christmas so we expect lots of folks will want to be out partying with friends. The fun starts at 9:30pm and goes to 12:30am (or later if the circumstances allow.) Hope to see you there…we promise to bring it so everyone there has a great time.
