The Trum was rocked…
Another fun night at the Trum. We always have a great time there. We lived up to our name again, playing until about 1 15am. We just wanted to finish our last set and people were still digging our music so we saw no reason to stop when the clock struck 1 am. The band made some new friends as is often the case; it’s so cool to connect with people who enjoy our music as much as we do.
Thanks to Steven Lewis for inviting us to play and thanks to Jamie who was behind the bar and out serving tables all night. She busted her butt and kept the party going. We appreciate all she did.
We return to the Trum a couple times next year. Check out our schedule page for upcoming Trum dates as well as all our other upcoming gigs.
Back to The Trum…
This Saturday, December 11th, we return to one of our favorite venues - The Trum Tavern - a place that has supported us so strongly from the beginning. We always get a good crowd there and almost always there are some interesting - in a good way - goings on. (if you’ve been to one of our gigs there you know what we mean.) Hopefully you can join us for what will be another night of great classic rock music and all that goes along with that.
Trum Tavern, One East Broad Street, Quakertown. 9pm to 1am.
Phenomenal Night at The Dutch
Phenomenal night at The Dutch - standing room only. Awesome crowd that brought so much energy and joy- singing and dancing all night. We fed off that and had so much fun ourselves. It's hard to describe the feeling we get when we see others enjoying the music we love. We debuted a number of new songs recently and they have all gotten positive responses. We keep working on making our sets full of a good mix of songs. The formula seems to be working well.
Thanks again to Ryan and Jenn for inviting us. We are fortunate to add two more dates at The Dutch in 2022: Feb 19th and April 16th. We're looking forward to returning.
It's been a great Thanksgiving weekend for us- hope the same is true for all of you. Stay safe and healthy.
Next up: The Trum Tavern, December 11th 2021. 9pm to 1am.
One East Broad Street, Quakertown, PA.
Thanksgiving Eve was a Blast
Another awesome night at Friendship Social Club. There was a good crowd - of all ages- last night and everyone there wanted to start the long holiday weekend with a party and we didn't disappoint them. They sang and danced all night to our great mix of classic rock tunes.
Again, thanks go out to Joe Heyman for inviting us to play on what is one of the biggest party nights of the year. And thanks to Amy for keeping the libations flowing throughout the night.
We're looking forward to returning to Friendship Social Club in 2022; when we schedule some dates we'll post them here and on our facebook and instagram pages.
We wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving. Stay safe and healthy and enjoy the time with family and friends.
And Don’t Forget The Dutch
Thanksgiving weekend will be a busy one for us. You already know about the Friendship gig on Thanksgiving eve. But after we gorge ourselves on Thanksgiving and wear ourselves out shopping on Black Friday we have a gig Saturday night at The Dutch! This promises to be a great night and an opportunity to shift gears and spend time with good friends, good food, good drink, and good music. We hope to see you there.
The Dutch, 1264 Bridge Road, Skippack, PA 8pm to midnight.
And now we’re on Instagram!
Breaking Curfew is expanding even further it’s social media footprint as we’ve started our own Instagram page. Click the link above and away you’ll go.
New Gigs Added to the Schedule
Hey gang it’s time for a quick update on some new gigs coming your way for 2022. First off, coming up we are playing both Thanksgiving Eve at Friendship Social Club and Thanksgiving Saturday at The Dutch for our next two shows this month. We have also added two more gigs at one of our favorite venues: The Trum. Check out our “Schedule” page for those additions.
Funny how we play all these different places and they all keep asking us back for more dates. We take pride in that. We play your favorite fun style classic rock tunes we all grew up with. There are quite a few surprises mixed in as our song arsenal keeps building and building. Keep in mind we are currently booking 2022 so more dates will sure to come so come on out and hear what we’re all about. We make the fans our number one priority and our set lists prove that. See you soon!
Thanksgiving Eve at Friendship Social Club!
Hey, we’re heading back to the Friendship Social Club for one of the biggest party nights of the year! So stoked to be a part of what will be an awesome party. Get ready to dance your butt off before your big Thanksgiving dinner the next day. It's not too early to make plans for November 24th, Thanksgiving Eve! Party night before turkey day!
Friendship Social Club. 423 West High Street, Phoenixville, PA
7:30pm to 11:30pm.
Great Night at Friendship Social Club
Great night at Friendship Social Club in Phoenixville. Our second time there proved to be even better than the first; feedback we got was that EVERYONE loved the gig. We are so appreciative of that kind of response. We debuted a couple of new songs but everything we played was enthusiastically received. Friendship is a great venue for bands: large stage and dance floor and very accommodating management (esp. Joe Heyman.) We are looking forward to returning there in 2022. We’ll keep you informed with any additions to our schedule. We have a couple weeks off until we hit The Dutch again on November 27th. That gives us some practice time to learn some new tunes. Until we see you again, KEEP ON ROCKIN’.
Friendship Social Club this Saturday!
We’re psyched to be returning this Saturday to the Friendship Fire House Social Club in Phoenixville. We start at 7:30pm and go until 11:30pm or until they tell us to stop. We had a blast the last time we played there and expect the same this time around.
What’s Up With The Band?
Putting together a band website was our next logical step in reaching more potential fans. It is another way to communicate what we’re doing to all of you who enjoy the same kind of music we do- classic rock.
Look here for inside information about upcoming plans/gigs for the band.
Thanks go out to Bill’s daughter, Allison, for her expert assistance in putting this together so it looks at least “semi-professional.” LOL
