BREAKING CURFEW is a classic rock cover band founded in 2017 that plays in numerous and varied venues in Chester, Montgomery, and Bucks counties. The band's emphasis is on playing the best classic songs that everyone, young and old, recognizes, sings with, and dances to. We take the music seriously so that those who come to party with us are sure of having a good time (and we do too.) Each of the members of Breaking Curfew has been very active in the local music scene for decades, playing in numerous successful bands with loyal followings.

James (Jammin' James) Alvord (lead vocals, rhythm guitar)- James is the front man of the band, shouldering most of the singing duties and lending his own unique and versatile style to the vocals. Since the mid 70s (!!) he has played in numerous very successful bands (most recently "Paradox") all over the area, including Chester, Montgomery, and Bucks counties, as well as the Jersey Shore and Delaware. He is now happy to lend his talents and experience to Breaking Curfew.

John (Tub) Krier (lead guitar, vocals)- John has been playing guitar for four decades and has been in many successful area bands (including “Bad Habit" and "Scattertrain") and has recently joined "Breaking Curfew." He can shred with the best of them; his leads are spot-on when necessary and imaginative when he has the freedom to improvise.

Rich (Richie Sticks) Palladino (drums, cowbell)- Rich has been playing drums and percussion throughout the Bucks, Montgomery, and (now) Chester counties for the past twenty years with numerous bands ("Ball and Chain" and "Live Addiction"), and now with "Breaking Curfew." He's influenced by classic and hard rock, with a hint of cowbell thrown in. Rich's "in the pocket" playing keeps the songs driving forward.

Bill (Big Bill) Jones (bass guitar)- Bill was originally trained in classical piano but got bored after ten years of playing to an audience of one. He wanted more action and took up the drums and played in popular local bands "My Last Day" and "Episode 4." Wanting to learn yet another instrument, he picked up the bass and now holds down the bottom with "Breaking Curfew."

As individuals and as a band, we are reliable and professional. When you hire us, we understand that for those three or four hours we are performing, we represent you and your establishment. We do all we can to ensure everyone who comes to hear us play leaves having had a great time and wanting to return.
